Stat. tit. 69, § 69-1321","heading":"Assessments for cost of acquisition","body":"(a) In the event condemnation proceedings have been instituted\n\nin connection with the construction of such limited access facility\n\nand interim certificates have been issued by the governing body or\n\nboard of county commissioners in accordance with this article, at\n\nsuch time as all the proceedings become final and it may thus be\n\ndetermined with definiteness the exact amount of money so advanced\n\nby the contractor for that purpose, the governing body or the board\n\nof county commissioners shall, by resolution, determine the exact\n\nsum, together with accrued interest, due to the owners and holders\n\nof the outstanding certificates, and shall appoint a time for\n\nholding a session to apportion such total sum, and to hear\n\nobjections thereto.\n\n(b) Notice of such hearing shall be published by the city or\n\ncounty clerk in five consecutive issues of a daily newspaper or in\n\ntwo consecutive issues of a weekly newspaper published in the county\n\nand in general circulation in the city or county. The time fixed\n\nfor hearing shall not be less than five (5) days nor more than\n\nfifteen (15) days from the date of the last publication.\n\n(c) At the time and place specified in such notice the governing\n\nbody or the board of county commissioners shall apportion the amount\n\namong the tracts, pieces and parcels of land in exact ratio and pro\n\nrata to the apportionments theretofore made in accordance with this\n\narticle for the cost of construction; and objections and complaints\n\nshall be limited to whether or not such apportionments are, or are\n\nnot, in strict ratio or in identical proportions to such previous\n\nassessment.\n\n(d) The apportionments shall be levied by ordinance or\n\nresolution, which shall provide that the owners of the property so\n\nassessed shall have the privilege of paying the amounts of their\n\nrespective assessments without interest at any time within thirty\n\n(30) days from the date of the first publication of the ordinance or\n\nresolution.","path":["OK Code","Title 69"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os69.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"282a015424768e53c63072d86e5510eb487a047b49f39086498592ba2ab4da99","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-1320","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-1322"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
