Stat. tit. 69, § 69-1322","heading":"Assessments - How payable","body":"(a) All special assessments made under the provisions of this\n\narticle and each installment and interest thereon are hereby\n\ndeclared to be a lien against the lots, tracts and pieces of land so\n\nassessed from the date of the publication of the ordinances or the\n\nadoption of the resolution levying the same, coequal with the lien\n\nof other taxes and prior and superior to all other liens, and such\n\nlien shall continue until the same shall be fully paid, but\n\nunmatured installments shall not be deemed to be within the terms of\n\nany general covenant or warranty.\n\n(b) As soon as each or either of the assessing ordinances or\n\nresolutions is adopted, the city or county clerk shall prepare a\n\nbook which shall be known as the \"limited access assessment record\",\n\nin which shall be entered the description of each lot, tract or\n\nparcel of land with a blank space for entering the amount of\n\nassessment and suitable columns for entering each installment\n\nthereof and date regarding the payments thereon.\n\n(c) With respect to assessments made by the board of county\n\ncommissioners, within fifteen (15) days after the adoption of the\n\nassessing resolution a full and complete copy thereof, together with\n\nthe \"limited access assessment record\", shall be certified by the\n\ncounty clerk to the county treasurer and shall thereafter be a\n\npermanent record of his office and all collections thereunder shall\n\nbe made and disbursed by the county treasurer.","path":["OK Code","Title 69"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os69.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"65663b1acdc7d29465f752934daeb015198be66b6b1d559d9ed373ac6d85124d","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-1321","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-1323"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
