Stat. tit. 69, § 69-1508","heading":"Reimbursement of contractors for city sales taxes paid","body":"The State Highway Department is hereby authorized to make\n\nreimbursement, from the State Highway Construction and Maintenance\n\nFund in the State Treasury, to contractors who have been, or who may\n\nhereafter be, awarded construction or repair contracts for state\n\nhighway projects and become subject to a city sales tax when such\n\ntax became effective following award of a contract. Any such\n\ncontractor shall submit to the State Highway Department copies of\n\ninvoices of taxes paid, the project number and the materials invoice\n\nthat became subject to a city sales tax.
