The\n\ncosts associated with signage required by this section may be\n\nprovided by private sources, or other categories of available\n\nfunding, and shall include the cost of the initial erection of signs\n\nas well as the cost of potential replacement or reconstruction of\n\nsigns. Upon receiving adequate funding, the Department of\n\nTransportation shall cause suitable permanent markers to be placed\n\nupon the highway bearing that name.
