Except as provided in subsection B of this section, the\n\nportion of U.S. Highway 62 beginning and ending with the city limits\n\nof Blanchard shall be designated as the \"Veterans Memorial Highway\".\n\nThe Department of Transportation shall cause suitable permanent\n\nmarkers to be placed on the highway bearing that name.\n\nB. The portion of U.S. Highway 62 in Blanchard extending\n\nnortheast from the intersection with State Highway 76 to the\n\nintersection with State Highway 9 shall be designated as the \"SFC\n\nTony K. Burris Memorial Highway\".
