Stat. tit. 69, § 69-314","heading":"Legal advisors","body":"The Director shall, with the advice and consent of the\n\nCommission, appoint such attorneys as may be necessary for the\n\nhandling of all legal services for the Commission and the\n\nDepartment. The attorneys shall be the legal advisors for the\n\nCommission and the Director, and are hereby authorized to appear for\n\nand represent the Department in any and all litigation that may\n\narise in the discharge of its duties, and advise it upon all legal\n\nmatters pertaining to the Department. The attorneys and, in\n\naddition, the Attorney General, are further authorized to appear for\n\nand represent officers and employees of the Department and the\n\nCommission in any civil suits brought against such officers and\n\nemployees in their individual capacities upon alleged causes of\n\naction which arose from acts or omissions of such officers and\n\nemployees within the scope of their official duties.\n\nThe salaries for the attorneys, other than the Attorney General,\n\nshall be fixed by the Commission and shall be payable monthly out of\n\nthe State Highway Construction and Maintenance Fund.","path":["OK Code","Title 69"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os69.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"7ec8be55259d91fd2d9fd411fa42f713ff4c592227d8a4f68ca52bcbf42c7abb","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-313","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-315"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
