The Transit Division within the Department of\n\nTransportation, including oversight and management of Federal\n\nTransit Administration grants and resources and the State Management\n\nPlan, is transferred into the Office of Mobility and Public Transit.\n\nThe Executive Director of the Department of Transportation shall\n\nassume all executive-level responsibilities for the Office of\n\nMobility and Public Transit and shall function as and possess the\n\npowers of the director for the Office of Mobility and Public\n\nTransit. For the purposes of this section, the term \"transferring\n\nagency\" shall mean the Transit Division within the Department of\n\nTransportation, including oversight and management of Federal\n\nTransit Administration grants and resources and the State Management\n\nPlan. Any funds appropriated to, in the possession of or allocated\n\nto the transferring agency shall be deemed to be funds of the Office\n\nof Mobility and Public Transit.\n\nB. Upon request of the Executive Director of the Department of\n\nTransportation, the personnel of the transferring agency shall\n\ndeliver to the Office of Mobility and Public Transit all books,\n\npapers, records and property.\n\nC. All functions, powers, duties and obligations previously\n\nassigned to the transferring agency are hereby transferred to the\n\nOffice of Mobility and Public Transit.\n\nD. All rules, regulations, acts, orders, contracts,\n\ndeterminations and decisions of the transferring agency pertaining\n\nto the functions and powers herein transferred and assigned to the\n\nOffice of Mobility and Public Transit in force at the time of such\n\ntransfer, assignment, assumption or devolution shall continue in\n\nforce and effect as rules, regulations, acts, orders, contracts,\n\ndeterminations and decisions of the Office of Mobility and Public\n\nTransit until duly modified or abrogated by the appropriate body or\n\nuntil otherwise provided by law.","path":["OK Code","Title 69"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os69.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"4815ca276c54bc8340629d60ab3337737a039c07e19e854fbfa6ed1c22934ddc","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-322","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-324"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
