Stat. tit. 69, § 69-4010","heading":"Turnpike Authority","body":"The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority shall retain its separate\n\nidentity, powers and duties as an instrumentality of the state\n\nexcept that the Department shall be authorized to provide, on a\n\ncontractual basis, the following services and functions to the\n\nAuthority:\n\n1. Record keeping, reporting, administrative, planning,\n\nengineering, legal and clerical functions of the Authority not in\n\nconflict with provisions of existing trust agreements.\n\n2. Operation and maintenance of turnpikes.\n\nDuplication of effort, facilities and equipment shall be minimized\n\nby the Department of Transportation and Turnpike Authority in\n\noperation and maintenance of turnpikes and highways of the state.\n\nThe Turnpike Authority and the Transportation Commission are\n\ndirected to take such action as necessary to implement this section,\n\nincluding the temporary transfer of personnel, property and\n\nequipment from the Authority to the Department to effect contracts\n\nin 1 and 2 above.
