Stat. tit. 69, § 69-402","heading":"State Highway Construction and Maintenance Fund - Use of -","body":"Acceptance and disbursement of federal funds - Liability of State\n\nTreasurer.\n\nThe Commission shall have authority to use any money in the\n\nState Highway Construction and Maintenance Fund to carry out the\n\nprovisions of this article. Whenever the Commission contracts as\n\nthe agent of the Bureau of Public Roads, it shall be authorized to\n\naccept and receive federal funds for disbursement in the discharge\n\nof the obligation of such contracts, and to deposit same in a\n\nspecial account in the State Treasury, and to disburse the same in\n\nsuch manner as may be approved by the Bureau of Public Roads.
