The Transportation Commission is hereby authorized to create\n\na \"State Infrastructure Bank\", pursuant to the federal National\n\nHighway System Designation Act of 1995 and the Transportation\n\nInfrastructure Finance and Innovation Act of 1998, for the purpose\n\nof pooling available federal, private and state appropriated or\n\nrevolving fund monies or credit assistance specifically authorized\n\nby the Legislature for such use. The Commission shall be the\n\ninstrumentality to make application to the Federal Highway\n\nAdministration for the capitalization grant which is to be placed in\n\nthe State Infrastructure Bank. The Commission shall be the\n\ninstrumentality to submit a Letter of Interest to the Federal\n\nHighway Administration for credit assistance pursuant to the\n\nTransportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act of 1998.\n\nThe Commission shall adopt all rules necessary to implement and\n\neffectuate the provisions of this act.\n\nB. The State Infrastructure Bank authorized by this section may\n\nbe utilized by the various counties of Oklahoma for pooling\n\navailable federal, private and state appropriated or revolving fund\n\nmonies or credit assistance specifically authorized by the\n\nLegislature for capital improvements. The various counties of\n\nOklahoma are authorized to receive and repay monies from the\n\nDepartment of Transportation revolving fund designated as the \"State\n\nInfrastructure Bank Revolving Fund\" for the purpose specifically\n\nauthorized by the Legislature.\n\nC. The Transportation Commission shall be authorized to make\n\nloans from the State Infrastructure Bank to qualified applicants as\n\nprovided in this act in order to implement the provisions of the\n\nNational Highway System Designation Act of 1995 and the\n\nTransportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act of 1998.","path":["OK Code","Title 69"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os69.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f55df92269812a941b3289400b5dc5af876415c2ce7ff1da6951d07eb461c6ba","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-4026","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-403.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
