Stat. tit. 69, § 69-4035","heading":"Retention of certain percentage of monies to fund new","body":"mass transportation programs.\n\nFor each fiscal year, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation\n\nshall retain five percent (5%) of the total amount of monies\n\ncontained in the Public Transit Revolving Fund and shall use the\n\nretained monies to fund new public mass transportation programs, in\n\nareas not served by mass transportation as of July 1, 1990, as\n\nauthorized and determined by the Department. Eligible entities\n\ndesiring to begin new public mass transportation programs shall\n\nsubmit a request for monies from the Public Transit Revolving Fund\n\nto the Department showing the area to be served, the total mileage\n\nof the proposed service, and the amount of funding desired. The\n\nDepartment shall allocate the monies to eligible entities within\n\nthree (3) months of the date of the request for monies from the\n\nPublic Transit Revolving Fund. New public mass transportation\n\nprograms shall receive payment at the rate of seventy-five cents\n\n($0.75) per passenger mile.
