Stat. tit. 69, § 69-606","heading":"Bridges between adjoining counties","body":"The board of county commissioners of any two or more adjoining\n\ncounties may unite in the construction of a bridge, or bridges, over\n\nany stream forming the boundary line between such counties or\n\nflowing from one county into the other, and the said bridge, or\n\nbridges, may be located by them at any point or points on the stream\n\nnot more than two (2) miles from the boundary line of the counties.\n\nIf the board of county commissioners of each county so situated\n\nfinds that a bridge across the stream is necessary and approves its\n\nconstruction, it shall be the duty of the boards of county\n\ncommissioners, and each of them, to at once proceed with the\n\nconstruction of the bridge. Such counties shall bear the cost of\n\nthe construction of the bridge, or bridges as agreed by said\n\ncounties; such construction shall be under the supervision of the\n\nboards of county commissioners, which boards shall act in\n\nconjunction in such construction; and the bridge, when so\n\nconstructed, shall remain the property of such counties,\n\nrespectively, and shall be jointly maintained by such counties.","path":["OK Code","Title 69"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os69.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"135e08752ac17aab070980bda635e544176e5533e623c7e0aaea06cbc4a7624a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-605","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-607"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
