Stat. tit. 69, § 69-641","heading":"Contract by farmers as to expenses and for return of","body":"machinery.\n\n(a) The board of county commissioners may not permit the use of\n\nsuch machinery and equipment, as provided in the preceding section,\n\nuntil the farmer desiring the use thereof shall make and enter into\n\na contract with such county, providing that the farmer shall pay all\n\nexpenses incurred in moving the machinery and equipment and the\n\nupkeep thereof, and that the same shall be returned to the county in\n\nas good condition as it was when received, the usual wear and tear\n\nalone excepted.\n\n(b) The farmer shall further, to enforce the compliance with\n\nsuch contract, deposit a bond with the board of county commissioners\n\nguaranteeing the compliance with such contract and the payment for\n\noil and gas, etc., such bond to be approved by the board, or, in\n\nlieu of such bond, shall make a cash deposit in such sum as may be\n\nrequired by the board; provided, that no farmer shall be liable for\n\nmajor breakage of such equipment.","path":["OK Code","Title 69"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os69.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"0da09eaf230ca236086de163edc477b9302316f3781805a33ac1bf1c8de42c06","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-640","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-69-69-642"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
