Stat. tit. 69, § 69-649","heading":"Grant of right to close, inundate, destroy, alter or","body":"appropriate county highway for public purposes.\n\nThe board of county commissioners of each county, by and with the\n\nwritten approval of the Commission, may grant to the United States\n\nof America or any irrigation district, conservancy district or water\n\nuser's association, organized under the laws of the state, the right\n\nto close, inundate, destroy, alter or appropriate any county highway\n\nin such county in connection with the construction, development,\n\noperation or maintenance of any irrigation, reclamation, water\n\nconservation and utilization, flood control, military or national\n\ndefense project, for needful public buildings, or other public\n\nprojects being constructed, operated, developed or maintained by the\n\nUnited States of America, or any such district or association, upon\n\nsuch terms and conditions and for such consideration as the board of\n\ncounty commissioners may determine to be just and proper.
