When a county receives monies pursuant to the County Bridge\n\nand Road Improvement Act, a county shall give priority to\n\nreconstructing, replacing, or closing those bridges in the county\n\nthat are rated less than three (3) tons or fifteen (15) tons or less\n\nfor those bridges on school bus routes. Bridge and road replacement\n\nor reconstruction projects shall be selected by the individual\n\nboards of county commissioners and shall be based on a countywide\n\nassessment of bridge and road reconstruction and replacement needs.\n\nB. Funds accruing to the County Bridge and Road Improvement\n\nRevolving Fund shall be apportioned on the basis of a formula\n\ndeveloped by the Department of Transportation and approved by the\n\nDepartment of Transportation County Advisory Board created pursuant\n\nto Section 302.1 of this title.
