It shall be the duty of the board of county commissioners of\n\neach county and the governing boards of all state institutions,\n\nstate agencies and state or county public trust authorities, with\n\nregard to the premises of county or state property under their\n\nrespective jurisdictions or the premises of property leased by them\n\nin whole or in part, to give priority to vending facilities operated\n\nby licensed blind operators and established by the State Department\n\nof Rehabilitation Services. Governing boards shall observe such\n\npriority by entering into an agreement with the Department.\n\nOperators shall be licensed by the Department.\n\nB. Governing boards shall make available free of any charge,\n\nfee, assessment or commission on sales adequate space with\n\nsufficient electrical, plumbing, heating and ventilation outlets for\n\nthe operation of a vending facility on satisfactory sites.\n\nGoverning boards shall provide free of any charge, fee, assessment\n\nor commission on sales the use of utilities needed to operate a\n\nvending facility.\n\nC. The provisions of this section shall not apply to the\n\noperation of fairgrounds, exposition centers, trade/consumer show\n\nfacilities, pari-mutuel horse racing facilities as licensed by the\n\nOklahoma Horse Racing Commission, parks, golf courses, hospitals\n\noperated by county trust authorities, commissaries for the benefit\n\nof persons lawfully confined in the county jail under the custody of\n\nthe county sheriff or the State Capitol Building and grounds;\n\nprovided, that vending machines within the State Capitol Building\n\nshall be subject to the provisions of subsections A and B of this\n\nsection.","path":["OK Code","Title 7"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os7.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"6633937a867f45c6c426679ce1e93423fd98db5a4d294177d6db4ab5681b1223","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-7-7-72","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-7-7-75"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
