Stat. tit. 70, § 70-1-118.1","heading":"Building fund – Technology center school districts","body":"The building fund of any technology center school district shall\n\nconsist of all monies derived from the proceeds of a building fund\n\nlevy not to exceed five (5) mills in any year, voted by the people\n\nof a school district pursuant to the provisions of Section 10 of\n\nArticle X of the Oklahoma Constitution, monies appropriated by the\n\nstate for the purpose of capital expenditures or projects, and\n\nmonies donated to a school district for the purpose of capital\n\nprojects or improvements and may be used for purchasing, providing,\n\nerecting, remodeling, repairing or maintaining any of the following:\n\nschool buildings, furniture, computer systems and equipment,\n\nsoftware for instructional and noninstructional purposes, energy and\n\nutility costs, telecommunications utilities and services, fire and\n\ncasualty insurance premiums for school facilities, security, student\n\ntransportation, grounds maintenance including parking lots and\n\nsidewalks, instructional and maintenance equipment, or for one or\n\nmore, or all, of these purposes. Proceeds of the levies shall not\n\nbe required to be used during the year for which a levy is made but\n\nmay accumulate from year to year until adequate for the purposes\n\nintended. The building fund defined in this section is hereby\n\ndeclared to be a current expense fund, but shall not be considered a\n\npart of the general operating fund.
