Stat. tit. 70, § 70-11-103.1a","heading":"Native American language – Teaching in public","body":"schools.\n\nA Native American language is hereby recognized as a language\n\nart and may be taught in the public schools of the state in\n\neducational programs. Native American language classes taught in\n\nthe public schools may be counted by a public school in fulfilling\n\ncore curriculum requirements and shall be granted the same credit as\n\na world language. For the purposes of this section, Native American\n\nlanguages may be taught in the public schools by:\n\n1. Any qualified teacher who holds a valid traditional or\n\nalternative Oklahoma teaching certificate; or\n\n2.
