The State Board of Education shall adopt a social studies\n\ncore curriculum with courses of instruction in Oklahoma history for\n\nall students enrolled in the public schools that incorporates\n\ninformation about the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P.\n\nMurrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City and the role it played in\n\nthe history of Oklahoma and the nation from April 19, 1995, to the\n\npresent. A study of the bombing and its aftermath can help students\n\nlearn the impact of violence, the senselessness of using violence to\n\nsolve problems or change their government, and the importance of\n\npersonal responsibility.\n\nB. The State Department of Education may make program materials\n\nand resources concerning the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred\n\nP. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City provided by the Oklahoma\n\nCity National Memorial and Museum available to the public schools of\n\nthis state.\n\nC.
