The State Department of Education, in consultation with\n\nexperts in Holocaust education, shall develop and make available to\n\npublic schools resources related to Holocaust education for grade-\n\nappropriate instruction of students in grades six through twelve.\n\nB. Beginning in the 2022-2023 school year, Holocaust education\n\nshall be taught to students in grades six through twelve in public\n\nschools in this state, as prescribed in the Oklahoma Academic\n\nStandards. Holocaust education may be integrated into one or more\n\nexisting courses of study and shall be taught in a manner that:\n\n1. Generates an understanding of the causes, course, and\n\neffects of the Holocaust;\n\n2. Develops dialogue with students on the ramifications of\n\nbullying, bigotry, stereotyping, and discrimination; and\n\n3. Encourages tolerance of diversity and reverence for human\n\ndignity for all citizens in a pluralistic society.\n\nC. The State Department of Education, in consultation with\n\nexperts in Holocaust education, shall develop and implement high\n\nquality professional learning opportunities for Holocaust education\n\nteachers.\n\nD.
