A board of education of a public school district or a\n\ntechnology center school district may only implement a mandate to\n\nwear a mask or any other medical device as provided in this\n\nsubsection.\n\n1. A board of education of a public school district or a\n\ntechnology center school district may only implement a mandate to\n\nwear a mask or any other medical device after consultation with the\n\nlocal county health department or city-county health department\n\nwithin the jurisdiction of where the board is located and when the\n\njurisdiction of where the board is located is under a current state\n\nof emergency declared by the Governor.\n\n2. The mandate shall explicitly list the purposes for the\n\nmandate.\n\n3. The mandate shall reference the specific masks or medical\n\ndevices that would meet the requirements of the mandate.\n\n4.
