Any child afflicted with a contagious disease or head lice\n\nmay be prohibited from attending a public, private, or parochial\n\nschool until such time as he is free from the contagious disease or\n\nhead lice.\n\nB. Any child prohibited from attending school due to head lice\n\nshall present to the appropriate school authorities, before the\n\nchild may reenter school, certification from a health professional\n\nas defined by Section 2601 of Title 63 of the Oklahoma Statutes or\n\nan authorized representative of the State Department of Health that\n\nthe child is no longer afflicted with head lice.\n\nC. School districts and county or city-county health\n\ndepartments may enter into agreements under the Interlocal\n\nCooperation Act for the purpose of providing assistance to the\n\nschool district by inspecting children who are returning to school\n\nafter an absence due to head lice to ensure that the child is no\n\nlonger afflicted with head lice.\n\nD.
