Stat. tit. 70, § 70-1210.212","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the 24/7 Tobacco-free Schools Act:\n\n1. \"Chewing tobacco\" means any Cavendish, twist, plug, scrap,\n\nand any other kinds and forms of tobacco suitable for chewing;\n\n2. \"Educational facility\" shall mean any property, building,\n\npermanent structure, facility, auditorium, stadium, arena or\n\nrecreational facility owned, leased or under the control of a public\n\nschool district or private school located in the state. For\n\npurposes of this act, a public school district shall not include a\n\ntechnology center school district;\n\n3. \"School vehicle\" means any transportation equipment or\n\nauxiliary transportation equipment as defined in Section 9-104 of\n\nTitle 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes;\n\n4. \"Smoking tobacco\" shall mean any granulated, plug cut, crimp\n\ncut, ready rubbed, and any other kinds and forms of tobacco suitable\n\nfor smoking in a pipe or cigarette;\n\n5. \"Tobacco product\" shall mean any bidis, cigars, cheroots,\n\nstogies, smoking tobacco and chewing tobacco, however prepared.\n\nTobacco products shall include any other articles or products made\n\nof tobacco or any substitute thereof; and\n\n6. \"Vapor product\" shall mean noncombustible products, that may\n\nor may not contain nicotine, that employ a mechanical heating\n\nelement, battery, electronic circuit or other mechanism, regardless\n\nof shape or size, that can be used to produce a vapor in a solution\n\nor other form. \"Vapor products\" shall include any vapor cartridge\n\nor other container with or without nicotine or other form that is\n\nintended to be used with an electronic cigarette, electronic cigar,\n\nelectronic cigarillo, electronic pipe or similar product or device\n\nand any vapor cartridge or other container of a solution, that may\n\nor may not contain nicotine, that is intended to be used with or in\n\nan electronic cigarette, electronic cigar, electronic cigarillo or\n\nelectronic device. \"Vapor products\" do not include any products\n\nregulated by the United States Food and Drug Administration under\n\nChapter V of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"46df53df056922ce8caccf6661a959eaf0f7884e748c42a8550630581af91f53","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-1210.211","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-1210.213"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
