Stat. tit. 70, § 70-1210.253","heading":"Purpose of act","body":"The purpose of this act is to authorize the development of a\n\ncomprehensive economic education program for children in\n\nkindergarten and grades one through twelve in the public school\n\ndistricts of this state which choose to participate. It is the\n\nlegislative intent that this program may teach a positive\n\nunderstanding of the American economy, how it functions and how the\n\nindividual can function effectively within our economy as a\n\nconsumer, worker and voter.
