The board of education for each school district in the state\n\nshall implement a system to provide educational screening as\n\nrequired in this section.\n\nB. The service centers are charged with the responsibility of\n\nensuring that educational screening is implemented in each public\n\nschool in the state for all first grade students in each school\n\nyear. The service centers shall provide assistance and training to\n\nschool districts for implementation of effective procedures for\n\neducational screening and analysis of the results.\n\nC. Second grade through twelfth grade students shall be\n\neducationally screened as needed or upon request of a parent, legal\n\nguardian, or teacher pursuant to regulations promulgated by the\n\nState Board of Education.\n\nD. Students entering the public school system from another\n\nstate or from within the state without previous educational\n\nscreening shall be educationally screened within six (6) months from\n\nthe date of such entry.\n\nE.
