Stat. tit. 70, § 70-1210.279","heading":"Rules and regulations - Dissemination of educational","body":"materials - Provision of training.\n\nThe State Board of Education is hereby authorized to promulgate\n\nrules as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this act.\n\nThe State Board of Education shall promulgate rules for the staffing\n\nand operation of the service centers, including safeguards to assure\n\nthe uniform application and availability of all services of the\n\nservice centers to all students within the area served by the\n\nservice centers. The rules shall further provide for the\n\nwithholding of funds by the State Board of Education from any of the\n\nservice centers to assure compliance with the rules. The State\n\nBoard of Education shall promulgate uniform rules for the testing of\n\nstudents.\n\nThe State Board of Education, regional service center or local\n\nschool district shall furnish curriculum materials for local school\n\ndistricts for use by the students participating in the programs.\n\nAll such materials shall be delivered to the local school district\n\nby the service centers and shall remain in the local school district\n\nas long as prescribed by the regional service center.\n\nThe regional education service centers shall acquire and\n\ndisseminate significant information, materials and equipment in\n\naccordance with the IDEA.\n\nThe service centers shall provide and assist in coordinating for\n\nthe provision of workshops, short courses, and training within the\n\nrespective regions and in cooperation with local schools,\n\nprofessional developments centers, organizations, public agencies,\n\nand institutions of higher education in accordance with the\n\ncomprehensive system of personnel development requirements under the\n\nIDEA.\n\nThe State Board of Education may establish and operate Service\n\nCenters by contract with any independent school district in the\n\nstate.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"41c2ef60254610c35f9beb4ab1cf0fce887a7cb033a8a64d999432ac84ce81aa","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-1210.278","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-1210.280"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
