Stat. tit. 70, § 70-1210.43","heading":"Insurance","body":"\n\nIn event the vehicle is loaned the board of education shall\n\nprovide insurance, by securing a policy from an insurance company\n\nauthorized to do business in this state, with limits of not less\n\nthan Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) because of bodily\n\ninjury to or death of one person in any one accident and, subject to\n\nsaid limit for one person, to a limit of not less than Fifty\n\nThousand Dollars ($50,000.00) because of bodily injury to or death\n\nof two or more persons in any one accident, and if the accident has\n\nresulted in injury to or destruction of property to a limit of not\n\nless than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) because of\n\ninjury to or destruction of property of others in any one accident,\n\nto cover such motor vehicle and its use while in its possession or\n\ncontrol, and the owner so furnishing same shall not be liable for\n\nany personal injury or property damage resulting from the use of any\n\nsuch motor vehicle while in the possession of the board of\n\neducation, its officials, employees or students.\n\nThe use of such motor vehicles for the purposes stated in\n\nSection 1210.41 of this title by technology center schools or\n\ntechnology center school districts is declared to be a public\n\ngovernmental function and no action for damages shall be brought\n\nagainst such schools or school districts or the boards of education\n\nthereof and the amount of damages, if any, recoverable against and\n\ncollectible from such insurer may be determined in an action brought\n\nagainst said insurance company and shall be limited to the amount\n\nprovided in the insurance contract.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8e4fe5bca5472207f07c1b0446d4c43dd5d41d55495fa40ab78d2ff6a415ba03","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-1210.42","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-1210.44"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
