Beginning in the 2021-2022 school year, each public school\n\ndistrict and public charter school shall provide students in grades\n\nten through twelve an opportunity to take the Armed Services\n\nVocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test and consult with a military\n\nrecruiter.\n\nB. The ASVAB test shall be scheduled during normal school day\n\nhours at a time that limits conflicts with extracurricular\n\nactivities.\n\nC. Each public school district and public charter school shall\n\nprovide each student in grades ten through twelve and his or her\n\nparent or legal guardian with the date, time and location of the\n\nscheduled administration of the ASVAB test.\n\nD. A public school district and public charter school may elect\n\nnot to provide the ASVAB test if the district or charter school\n\nprovides an alternative test that:\n\n1. Assesses a student's aptitude for success in a career field\n\nother than a career field that requires postsecondary education;\n\n2. Is free to administer;\n\n3. Requires minimal training and support of district or charter\n\nschool faculty and staff to administer the test; and\n\n4.
