Stat. tit. 70, § 70-1210.552","heading":"Coordinated education services to families of","body":"recipients of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families - Pilot\n\nprojects - Consideration of proposals.\n\nA. The State Board of Education shall solicit proposals for,\n\nand if funds are available make grants for, pilot projects that make\n\ncoordinated educational services available to families of recipients\n\nof Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). Such proposals\n\nshall be prepared in cooperation with personnel of the Department of\n\nHuman Services and shall address the needs of preschool children,\n\ndropouts, and adult members of such families who have not graduated\n\nfrom high school or completed a high school equivalency program.\n\nB. The State Board of Education shall determine pilot project\n\ncriteria and establish a process for the consideration of proposals.\n\nSuch proposals for pilot projects shall be considered on a statewide\n\ncompetitive basis. The State Board of Education is authorized to\n\npromulgate rules for the operation of such projects.
