A public developmental research school shall be headed by a\n\ndirector, selected by the president of the affiliated higher\n\neducation institution and employed by the affiliated higher\n\neducation institution. The director shall be the chief executive\n\nofficer of the district in which the developmental research school\n\nis located. The director is not required to be a certified\n\nadministrator and may be selected from the staff of the college of\n\neducation of the affiliated higher education institution. The board\n\nof education for the district in which the developmental research\n\nschool is located may reimburse the higher education institution for\n\npart of the director's salary.\n\nB. Except as provided in this section, classroom teachers\n\nemployed to teach in a public developmental research school shall be\n\ncertified teachers pursuant to Section 6-101 et seq. of Title 70 of\n\nthe Oklahoma Statutes. Higher education faculty employed by the\n\naffiliated higher education institution who are not certified\n\nteachers may serve simultaneously as instructional personnel for the\n\npublic developmental research school and the higher education\n\ninstitution. No more than one-third of the teaching faculty of the\n\nresearch school may be higher education faculty who are not\n\ncertified pursuant to Section 6-101 et seq. of Title 70 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes.\n\nC.
