Stat. tit. 70, § 70-1210.702","heading":"Definitions","body":"For purposes of the Oklahoma Advanced Placement Incentive\n\nProgram:\n\n1. “Advanced placement course” means a high school level\n\npreparatory course for a college advanced placement test that\n\nincorporates all topics specified by the College Board and the\n\nEducational Testing Service on its standard syllabus for a given\n\nsubject area and is approved by the College Board;\n\n2. “Preadvanced placement course” means a middle school, junior\n\nhigh school, or high school level course that specifically prepares\n\nstudents to enroll and participate in an advanced placement course;\n\n3. “Advanced placement vertical team” means a group of middle\n\nschool or junior high school and high school educators in a given\n\ndiscipline who work cooperatively to develop and implement a\n\nvertically aligned program aimed at helping students acquire the\n\nacademic skills necessary for success in the advanced placement\n\nprogram;\n\n4. “Advanced placement test” means the advanced placement test\n\nadministered by the College Board and Educational Testing Service;\n\n5. “International Baccalaureate course” means a high school\n\nlevel preparatory course for an International Baccalaureate\n\nexamination that incorporates each topic specified by the\n\nInternational Baccalaureate Organization on its standard syllabus\n\nfor a particular subject area;\n\n6. “International Baccalaureate examination” means the\n\nInternational Baccalaureate examination administered by the\n\nInternational Baccalaureate Organization;\n\n7. “College Board” means the College Board and Educational\n\nTesting Service;\n\n8. “Department” means the State Department of Education; and\n\n9. “Program” means the Oklahoma Advanced Placement Incentive\n\nProgram.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"7325387282a95b78b5564202b3c7fd27776dfbf8aebb83143ff8116247d29768","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-1210.701","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-1210.703"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
