Stat. tit. 70, § 70-135.1b","heading":"Bond and salary - Appointment - Duties","body":"Such deputy for school accounts shall be under the same amount\n\nand class of bond, and be paid the same amount of salary out of the\n\nsalary appropriations made and approved for the office of such\n\ncounty treasurer, as that of the head deputy county treasurer in\n\nsuch county. His appointment shall be by, and he shall serve under\n\nand at the direction of, such county treasurer. Under direction of\n\nthe county treasurer, it shall be his duty to devote his time and\n\nattention to the keeping of the accounts of such county treasurer\n\nwith the several school districts of the county, of whatever class,\n\nwhose funds are in custody of such county treasurer and the\n\naccounting for which such county treasurer is responsible under the\n\nlaw; he shall keep the school district warrant registers and\n\nledgers, register and schedule for payment the obligations of such\n\ndistricts, apportion school revenues, inspect and file duplicate\n\nclaims where required by law, record credits and payments and take\n\ntrial balance for control proof when required, make all reports to\n\nschool boards and other officers as may be required or provided by\n\nlaw, and do and perform such other duties in relation to such school\n\naccounts, including accounts, statistics, receipts, and reports in\n\nrelation to federal tax withholdings and teacher retirement, as the\n\ncounty treasurer may require and direct.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"986461018ae888507a286876acdc5ed52c95e55fa3a50ff646367b1d4ebc4678","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-135.1a","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-135.1c"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
