The Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education\n\nmay operate and maintain an equipment pool, at which there shall be\n\nkept equipment for the use of technology center school districts and\n\nschools supported by public funds, and said department and schools\n\nshall be eligible for surplus property and equipment.\n\nB. Whenever the Department determines that any such district or\n\nschool has, and does not have a need for, equipment purchased wholly\n\nor partly with state or federal funds, it may, if consistent with\n\nfederal laws and regulations, order the equipment transferred to the\n\nequipment pool; and the district or school, or officials thereof,\n\nshall thereupon have the duty to comply with such order. Provided,\n\nany equipment which has been purchased wholly or in part with local\n\nschool funds shall require the concurrence of the governing board of\n\nthat local school before the equipment shall be transferred to the\n\nstate equipment pool.\n\nC. Whenever the Department determines that a technology center\n\nschool district or school supported by public funds has a need for\n\nany equipment in the equipment pool, the Department may transfer the\n\nequipment to such district or school.\n\nD.
