Stat. tit. 70, § 70-14-128","heading":"Oklahoma Youth Apprenticeship Committee - Members -","body":"Quorum.\n\nA. There is hereby created the Oklahoma Youth Apprenticeship\n\nCommittee. The committee shall be appointed by the State Board of\n\nCareer and Technology Education within thirty (30) days of the\n\neffective date of this act and shall consist of thirteen (13)\n\nmembers as follows:\n\n1. The Director of the Oklahoma Department of Career and\n\nTechnology Education or designee who shall also serve as committee\n\nchair;\n\n2. The State Superintendent of Public Instruction or designee;\n\n3. The Chancellor of Higher Education or designee;\n\n4. One superintendent of a technology center school district;\n\n5. One superintendent of an independent school district;\n\n6. One president of a state community or junior college;\n\n7. Two members who represent the interests of labor, including\n\none who represents the Bureau of Apprenticeship Training of the\n\nUnited States Department of Labor;\n\n8. Four members who are currently employed in business or\n\nindustry; and\n\n9. One member who represents a city chamber of commerce.\n\nB. Seven members of the committee shall constitute a quorum. A\n\nquorum must be present to transact any business of the committee.\n\nThe committee is advisory in nature and shall meet as necessary to\n\nprovide recommendations to the State Board of Career and Technology\n\nEducation related to the administration of and standards for youth\n\napprenticeship programs.
