Stat. tit. 70, § 70-16-115","heading":"Contractors - Book depositories - Insufficient stock or","body":"supply.\n\nAll contractors shall establish and maintain a suitable and\n\nconvenient depository or depositories in the State of Oklahoma where\n\na stock of their books to supply all immediate demands shall be\n\nkept. Said depository or depositories may be operated jointly with\n\nother contractors. Each contractor shall maintain at the depository\n\na sufficient supply of textbooks for individuals or boards of\n\neducation desiring to purchase the same and shall be required to\n\nsell such books to any individual or board of education at the same\n\nprice at which the textbook is sold to the State of Oklahoma plus\n\ncost of transportation to the individual or board of education\n\npurchasing the textbook. Upon the failure of any contractor to\n\ncarry a sufficient stock of books at the depository to take care of\n\nall immediate demands of the State of Oklahoma and others requesting\n\nthe same, or to furnish the textbooks as required by the contract,\n\nthe State Board of Education shall have power to recover on the bond\n\ngiven by such contractor for the full value of the books not\n\nfurnished as required by the contract and terminate said contract.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"dff84f92310cc837c749fb361aff49da07980e7a3f205a8185e9d8fc72c21828","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-16-114a","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-16-117"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
