Stat. tit. 70, § 70-17-103.1","heading":"Oklahoma State University Cooperative Extension","body":"Service employees - Transfer to Teachers' Retirement System.\n\nEmployees of the Oklahoma State University Cooperative Extension\n\nService who are members of the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement\n\nSystem shall cease accruing benefits in the Oklahoma Public\n\nEmployees Retirement System and shall commence accruing benefits\n\nunder the Teachers' Retirement System of Oklahoma on July 1, 1987.\n\nOn January 1, 1988, the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System\n\nshall transfer to the Teachers' Retirement System of Oklahoma the\n\nactual amount contributed to the Oklahoma Public Employees\n\nRetirement System by the state and by each employee of the Oklahoma\n\nState University Cooperative Extension Service transferring to the\n\nTeachers' Retirement System of Oklahoma and the retirement records\n\nof those transferring employees. Service accrued by said employee\n\nof the Oklahoma State University Cooperative Extension Service under\n\nthe Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System shall be treated as\n\ncredited service under the Teachers' Retirement System of Oklahoma.\n\nFor purposes of this section, creditable service transferred from\n\nthe Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System shall include\n\nservice authorized under paragraph (f) of subsection (2) of Section\n\n913 of Title 74 of the Oklahoma Statutes. Members who retire prior\n\nto July 1, 1990, shall have their monthly benefit adjusted to\n\ninclude all services accrued under paragraph (f) of subsection (2)\n\nof Section 913 of Title 74 of the Oklahoma Statutes. Provided\n\nhowever, that any adjustment of existing retirement benefits caused\n\nby reason of inclusion of such service authorized under paragraph\n\n(f) of subsection (2) of Section 913 of Title 74 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes shall not affect any retirement benefit paid prior to July\n\n1, 1990.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"ae2bb82e8e3d7bf8166fa0e06d5399e3acc82a553fe4897fc44f7d3e0d36ad45","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-17-103","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-17-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
