Stat. tit. 70, § 70-17-110","heading":"Fraud - Errors in record","body":"Any person who shall knowingly make any false statement or shall\n\nfalsify or permit to be falsified, any record or records of this\n\nretirement system in any attempt to defraud such system as a result\n\nof such act shall be guilty of a Class D3 felony offense and shall\n\nbe punished by imprisonment as provided for in subsections B through\n\nF of Section 20P of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes. Should any\n\ncharge or error in the records result in any member or beneficiary\n\nreceiving from the retirement system more or less than he would have\n\nbeen entitled to receive had the records been correct, the Board of\n\nTrustees shall correct such error, and so far as practicable, shall\n\nadjust the payment in such a manner that the actuarial equivalent of\n\nthe benefit to which such member or beneficiary was correctly\n\nentitled shall be paid, and to take from the Interest Fund\n\nsufficient to reimburse the Fund where an overpayment had already\n\nbeen made, and any such overpayment recovered from the member shall\n\nbe placed in the Interest Fund.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"564b3284834a4bd69a421ab9d8db464fe609c7407a583d26283021cf8426852b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-17-109.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-17-111"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
