On or before June 30, 2005, the Board of Regents of a\n\nparticipating institution may establish an alternate retirement plan\n\npursuant to the provisions of this act, for the entities under the\n\njurisdiction of such Board of Regents, for eligible employees in\n\nlieu of membership in the Teachers' Retirement System of Oklahoma.\n\nThe Board of Regents of the applicable participating institution\n\nshall determine the terms and conditions of the alternate retirement\n\nplan including, by example, terms for eligibility, contributions,\n\nvesting and the amount of benefits, and provide for the\n\nadministration of such an alternate retirement plan and perform or\n\nauthorize the performance of such functions as may be necessary for\n\nsuch purpose in accordance with this act.\n\nB. The Board of Regents shall select the company or companies\n\nthat shall administer the qualified retirement trust, custodial\n\naccounts or from which annuity contracts are to be purchased under\n\nthe alternate retirement plan and shall approve the form and content\n\nof all agreements governing such trusts, accounts or contracts.\n\nC.
