Residents of this state for whom deafness or hardness of\n\nhearing is the primary impediment to success in the common schools\n\nof the state, and who are of suitable age and physical and mental\n\ncapacity, shall be entitled to an education in the Oklahoma School\n\nfor the Deaf without charge.\n\nB. Students admitted to the school who are of suitable\n\nemotional capacity and who are not a threat to themselves or others\n\nshall be entitled to reside at the school free of charge to the\n\nextent that dormitory housing is available.\n\nC. The Department of Rehabilitation Services shall establish\n\nthe criteria and procedures for admission to the school.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 6988.
