Stat. tit. 70, § 70-19-115","heading":"Rules - Administrative budget - Coordinator of driver","body":"education programs.\n\nA. The establishment, conduct and scope of the driver education\n\nprogram for secondary schools shall be the program established by\n\nrules adopted and promulgated by the State Board of Education,\n\nsubject to the requirements and exceptions set forth in Section 19-\n\n113 et seq. of this title. Said program shall be established and\n\nmaintained only in accordance with such rules and laws. The State\n\nSuperintendent of Public Instruction shall prepare an administrative\n\nbudget from funds made available under this article, which budget\n\nshall be approved by the State Board of Education. It shall be the\n\nresponsibility of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction to\n\nappoint supervisors of safety education and the necessary clerical\n\npersonnel.\n\nB. The State Department of Education shall designate or employ\n\na state coordinator of driver education programs to provide\n\noversight of all driver education programs throughout the state.\n\nThe responsibilities of such coordinator shall include, but not be\n\nlimited to:\n\n1. Assuring quality driver education programs in this state;\n\n2. Serving as a liaison between the State Department of\n\nEducation and Service Oklahoma;\n\n3. Promoting driver safety throughout the state; and\n\n4.
