Stat. tit. 70, § 70-21-105.1","heading":"Education and training programs to be considered for","body":"licensure.\n\nA. The existence of a private school, for the purpose of\n\nrequiring a state authorization license to be obtained, shall be\n\ndetermined by the education or training program that is offered or\n\nproposed to be offered and such other school attributes as\n\nenumerated by the Legislature or the Oklahoma Board of Private\n\nVocational Schools.\n\nB. Training and education programs to be considered for state\n\nauthorization licensure include:\n\n1. Training or education that pertains to a business,\n\nprofessional, trade or industrial occupation or vocational-technical\n\nfield that may result in the receipt of a degree, diploma or\n\ncertificate;\n\n2. Improvement or enhancement of specific or general business\n\nskills that may be used in one or more occupations;\n\n3. Preparing a person to instruct subject matter that might\n\notherwise not require private school licensing, such as a\n\nrecreational, avocational or hobby activity, if the future\n\ninstructor's training may result in the future teacher receiving\n\nremuneration for the training he or she will offer; and\n\n4. Providing a program of prelicensing or exam preparation when\n\nnot licensed or approved by another state agency.\n\nC. Training or education to be licensed for state authorization\n\nby the Board may include a program that is offered through:\n\n1. Traditional classrooms;\n\n2. Short-term programs such as a seminar or workshop that does\n\nnot qualify for an exemption from licensing and offers to improve or\n\nenhance specific or general business skills that may be used in one\n\nor more occupations;\n\n3. Correspondence; and\n\n4. Distance education.\n\nD. An entity shall be treated as a school for purposes of\n\nlicensing regardless of whether the entity:\n\n1. Identifies itself as a school or other similar term;\n\n2. Owns, rents or leases a physical facility or has physical\n\nspace donated to conduct classes or to host a correspondence or\n\ndistance education program;\n\n3. Possesses any specific tax status granted by the Internal\n\nRevenue Service or a state's taxation authority; or\n\n4.
