Stat. tit. 70, § 70-2166","heading":"Televised instruction system - Cooperative agreements -","body":"Revolving fund - Appropriation.\n\nThe Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education may establish\n\nand maintain as a part of the state system of higher education a\n\nsystem of televised instruction designed primarily for persons\n\nliving in industrial communities remote from campuses of colleges\n\nand universities and for the interchange of classes and teachers\n\nbetween campuses of the state's public and private colleges and\n\nuniversities; and may enter into cooperative agreements with federal\n\nagencies, state agencies and public and private educational\n\ninstitutions and receive, use and administer grants, contributions\n\nand donations of funds and property for such purpose. All such\n\nfunds shall be deposited in a revolving fund, which is hereby\n\ncreated, to be known as the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher\n\nEducation Televised Instruction Revolving Fund, which revolving fund\n\nshall be nonfiscal and be used and expended by the State Regents for\n\nthe aforesaid purpose. Up to One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) of\n\nthe funds received by or credited to the account of the State\n\nRegents from investments by the State Treasurer from proceeds of\n\nbuilding bonds as provided by Senate Bill No. 349 and Senate Bill\n\nNo. 350 of the First Session of the Thirty-Second Legislature, or\n\nsimilar funds hereafter provided in legislation vitalizing Section\n\n38, Article X, Oklahoma Constitution, may be used and expended by\n\nthe State Regents for the purpose of planning and installing the\n\ntelevised instruction system. There is also hereby appropriated to\n\nthe State Regents from any monies in the General Revenue Fund of the\n\nState Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, the sum of Two Hundred\n\nThousand Dollars ($200,000.00) for the purpose of establishing,\n\nmaintaining and operating the televised instruction system, the sum\n\nso appropriated to be nonfiscal and to be subject to encumbrance at\n\nany time within thirty (30) months after the effective date of this\n\nact.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8a0063f6b7bb282bd2c4b6afd9aa7be6647ebd550548d527f275edb392dc329f","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-2128","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-2167"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
