Stat. tit. 70, § 70-23-120","heading":"Bond application may be filed with Oklahoma Supreme","body":"Court.\n\nThe Authority is authorized in its discretion to file an\n\napplication with the Supreme Court of Oklahoma for the approval of\n\nany bonds to be issued thereunder, and exclusive original\n\njurisdiction is hereby conferred upon the Supreme Court to hear and\n\ndetermine each such application. It shall be the duty of the Court\n\nto consider and pass upon the applications and any protests which\n\nmay be filed thereto as speedily as possible. Notice of the hearing\n\non each application shall be given by notice published in a\n\nnewspaper of general circulation in the state that on a day named\n\nthe Authority will ask the Court to hear its application and approve\n\nthe bonds. Such notice shall inform all persons interested that\n\nthey may file protests against the issuance of the bonds and be\n\npresent at the hearing and contest the legality thereof. Such\n\nnotice shall be published one time not less than ten (10) days prior\n\nto the date named for the hearing and the hearing may be adjourned\n\nfrom time to time in the discretion of the Court. If the Court\n\nshall be satisfied that the bonds have been properly authorized in\n\naccordance with this article and that when issued, they will\n\nconstitute valid obligations in accordance with their terms, the\n\nCourt shall render its written opinion approving the bonds and shall\n\nfix the time within which a petition for rehearing may be filed. The\n\ndecision of the Court shall be a judicial determination of the\n\nvalidity of the bonds, shall be conclusive as to the Authority, its\n\nofficers and agents, and thereafter the bonds so approved and the\n\nrevenues pledged to their payment shall be incontestable in any\n\ncourt in the State of Oklahoma.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"b236c0506e751f7ca9643dde78237f068331f7e81846db77efa0a0472beb0ec4","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-23-119","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-23-121"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
