Beginning July 1, 2023, school districts and charter schools\n\nthat serve any students in grades seven through twelve and issue\n\nstudent identification cards shall have printed on either side of\n\nthe student identification cards the telephone number described in\n\nparagraph 1 of this subsection and may have printed on either side\n\nof the student identification cards the telephone number described\n\nin paragraph 2 of this subsection:\n\n1. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, which can be\n\naccessed by calling or texting 988; and\n\n2. The Crisis Text Line, which can be accessed by texting HOME\n\nto 741741.\n\nB. It is the intent of the Legislature that beginning July 1,\n\n2023, institutions within The Oklahoma State System of Higher\n\nEducation and private institutions of higher education in the state\n\nthat issue student identification cards may print on either side of\n\nthe student identification cards the telephone numbers described in\n\nparagraphs 1, 2, and 3 of this subsection:\n\n1. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, which can be\n\naccessed by calling or texting 988;\n\n2. The Crisis Text Line, which can be accessed by texting HOME\n\nto 741741; and\n\n3. The campus police or security telephone number or, if the\n\ncampus does not have a campus police or security telephone number,\n\nthe local nonemergency telephone number.\n\nC. If a school district or charter school subject to the\n\nprovisions of subsection A of this section or an institution of\n\nhigher education subject to the provisions of subsection B of this\n\nsection has a supply of unissued student identification cards that\n\ndo not comply with subsections A and B of this section, as\n\napplicable, as of July 1, 2023, the school or institution of higher\n\neducation may issue the non-compliant student identification cards\n\nuntil the supply is depleted.\n\nD.
