Stat. tit. 70, § 70-24-131.1","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in Section 2 of this act:\n\n1. \"Chief administrative officer\" shall mean the principal,\n\nsuperintendent, or other person in charge of the management,\n\nadministration, or control of any secondary school;\n\n2. \"Period of a sanctioned athletic event\" shall mean the time\n\nduring which a sanctioned athletic event occurs and a period of two\n\n(2) hours immediately before and after the event;\n\n3. \"Premises of the secondary school\" shall mean:\n\na. the real property on which a secondary school is\n\nlocated, including, but not limited to, school\n\nbuildings, playing fields, gymnasiums, auditoriums,\n\nand parking lots owned or leased for use by the\n\nsecondary school, and\n\nb. the real property on which a recreational facility\n\nacquired, constructed or leased by an independent\n\nschool district or a secondary school is located,\n\nincluding buildings, playing fields, and parking lots;\n\n4. \"Sanctioned athletic event\" shall mean an athletic contest\n\nor sporting event sanctioned by the Oklahoma Secondary School\n\nActivities Association; and\n\n5. \"Secondary school\" shall mean a public or private school\n\nsubject to the school laws of Oklahoma engaged in the education of\n\nstudents for any of grades seven through twelve.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c69db5f09099abdfca5d4f760b7a1c2cf3ff4825b355ffc89fde1075edb9ccdb","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-24-131","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-24-131.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
