Stat. tit. 70, § 70-2621","heading":"Tulsa Reconciliation Education and Scholarship Program","body":"There is hereby created the Tulsa Reconciliation Education and\n\nScholarship Program. The purpose of the program is to provide a\n\nscholarship award to residents of the Tulsa School District, which\n\nwas greatly impacted both socially and economically by the civil\n\nunrest that occurred in the City of Tulsa during 1921. Beginning\n\nwith the 2002-2003 school year, or as soon thereafter as\n\npracticable, and subject to the availability of funds, the program\n\nshall each year make scholarships available to qualified residents\n\nof the Tulsa School District, who meet the criteria set forth in\n\nSections 2623 and 2624 of this title, and who are intending to\n\npursue studies at an institution of higher education in The Oklahoma\n\nState System of Higher Education or a private institution of higher\n\neducation, or who are intending to pursue studies in a postsecondary\n\ncareer technology education program. The scholarship shall be an\n\namount of not more than the equivalent of the average amount of\n\nresident tuition for which an eligible Tulsa Reconciliation\n\nEducation and Scholarship Program participant enrolled at an\n\ninstitution in The Oklahoma State System of Higher Education or a\n\npostsecondary career technology education program, whichever is\n\napplicable, is obligated to pay. The scholarship shall be paid as\n\nprovided for in Section 2625 of this title.
