This act shall be known and may be cited as \"Riley's Rule\".\n\nB. Prior to the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year, each\n\nschool district board of education shall coordinate with emergency\n\nmedical services providers that serve the area in which the school\n\ndistrict is located to develop an Emergency Action Plan for each\n\nfacility and athletic practices, events or activities held at school\n\ndistrict facilities.\n\nC. The Emergency Action Plan shall:\n\n1. Include maps and directions with appropriate contact\n\ninformation for emergency medical services;\n\n2. Assign a medical administrator who is a current school\n\nemployee such as a coach, administrator or athletic director;\n\n3. Define responsibilities and personnel on-site, both medical\n\nand school officials;\n\n4. Include a list of medical equipment available and location\n\nof the nearest automated external defibrillator, if available;\n\n5. Be posted in each facility;\n\n6. Be distributed to all school officials involved in athletic\n\npractices, events or activities held at school district facilities;\n\nand\n\n7. Specify documentation actions after any emergency to\n\nevaluate for debriefing purposes and to determine if there are\n\nnecessary changes to the Emergency Action Plan.\n\nD. The Emergency Action Plan shall be reviewed, updated and\n\nrehearsed annually with school officials and local emergency medical\n\nservices providers, and placed on file with the school district and\n\nthe emergency medical services provider. The Emergency Action Plan\n\nshall be updated to reflect any potential significant change that\n\nwould affect implementation of the plan.\n\nE.
