Schools shall have the right to broadcast all high school\n\nathletic activities in this state in which the school's athletic\n\nteam is participating.\n\nB. If the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association\n\nenters into an exclusive broadcast agreement for an athletic\n\nactivity, such agreement shall not prohibit a local broadcaster or\n\nschool from broadcasting a school's athletic activity in which the\n\nschool's athletic team is participating.\n\nC. The provisions of this section shall apply to contracts\n\ninvolving the right to broadcast that are entered into or renewed on\n\nor after the effective date of this act.\n\nD. For purposes of this section:\n\n1. \"Athletic activity\" means any high school athletic pre-\n\nseason, regular season, or playoff game;\n\n2. \"Broadcast\" means the live or recorded audio or video\n\ntransmission over airwaves, streaming, or other transmission of an\n\nathletic activity, play-by-play, or other account of such activity\n\nvia radio, television, Internet, or other technologies;\n\n3. \"Exclusive broadcast agreement\" means an agreement entered\n\ninto between the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association\n\nand an organization to broadcast the Oklahoma Secondary School\n\nActivities Association's athletic activities under which such\n\norganization retains sole rights to broadcast such activities or\n\nfirst right to broadcast such activities;\n\n4. \"Local broadcaster\" means an organization, located in\n\nOklahoma, that provides local broadcast services for any activity of\n\na local school.
