On July 1, 2014, the Oklahoma Commission for Teacher\n\nPreparation shall be placed under the authority of the Commission\n\nfor Educational Quality and Accountability. Except as otherwise\n\nprovided for in this section, the transfer shall include all real\n\nproperty, buildings, furniture, equipment, supplies, records,\n\npersonnel, assets, current and future liabilities, fund balances,\n\nencumbrances, obligations, and indebtedness associated with the\n\nOklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation.\n\nB. All employees of the Oklahoma Commission for Teacher\n\nPreparation on July 1, 2014, including related liabilities for sick\n\nleave, annual leave, holidays, unemployment benefits, and workers’\n\ncompensation benefits accruing prior to July 1, 2014, to such\n\npersonnel shall be transferred to the Commission for Educational\n\nQuality and Accountability as of July 1, 2014. It is the intent of\n\nthe Legislature that, to the extent possible, the Commission ensure\n\nthat the employees retain pay and benefits, as much as possible,\n\nincluding longevity, dependent insurance benefits, seniority,\n\nrights, and other privileges or benefits.\n\nC. Appropriate conveyances and other documents shall be\n\nexecuted by January 1, 2015, to effectuate the transfer of property\n\nowned by the Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation to the\n\nCommission for Educational Quality and Accountability.\n\nD. Any monies donated or accruing to or in the name of the\n\nOklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation after July 1, 2014,\n\nshall be transferred to the Commission for Educational Quality and\n\nAccountability. Any other monies from appropriations, fees,\n\nlicenses, fines, penalties, or other similar types of monies that\n\naccrue in any funds or accounts after July 1, 2014, in the name of\n\nthe Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation or maintained for\n\nthe benefit of the Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation are\n\ntransferred to the Commission.\n\nE. The Commission for Educational Quality and Accountability\n\nshall succeed to any contractual rights and responsibilities\n\nincurred by the Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation.\n\nF.
