Stat. tit. 70, § 70-3-116.5","heading":"Commission for Educational Quality and Accountability","body":"– Report on educational system.\n\nA. On or before October 31, 2021, the Commission for\n\nEducational Quality and Accountability shall issue a report to the\n\nSpeaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, the President Pro\n\nTempore of the Oklahoma State Senate and the Governor detailing\n\nfactors in the public education system of the state that contribute\n\nto improvements in the:\n\n1. Common education system, including, but not limited to, high\n\nschool graduation rates and college and career assessment scores;\n\n2. Higher education and career and technology education\n\nsystems, including, but not limited to, timely graduation rates and\n\nreduced remediation rates; and\n\n3. State workforce, including, but not limited to, career\n\nreadiness and the ability for new graduates to find in-state\n\nemployment.\n\nB. If the Commission finds there is insufficient information\n\navailable to fulfill any of the report objectives specified in\n\nsubsection A of this section, the report shall also contain\n\nrecommendations on ways to address information gaps between state\n\nentities, such as the State Department of Education, the Oklahoma\n\nDepartment of Career and Technology Education and the Oklahoma State\n\nRegents for Higher Education.\n\nC. The Commission may contract with a private consultant or\n\nconsultants to assist with the development of the report.\n\nD.
